Internet i Fokus  is an event that took place for the 25th time this year, gathering the industry's top speakers and experts to discuss the latest trends in digital communication, marketing, and innovation. This year's event provided us with numerous insights into how digital platforms are evolving and what tools businesses and individuals can use to stay ahead. For me, this was my first time attending the event, and it was an incredible opportunity to learn from the experts and build new connections.

Among the presentations I found most interesting were those discussing the future of digital marketing and how technological advancements, such as AI and social media, are affecting the way we communicate. One particular presentation that stood out was about how social media platforms are now taking over as search engines, meaning Google is losing ground. While I was already aware of this trend, I now gained a deeper understanding of the subject.


Many presentations focused on the future of AI and how companies are already using the technology to enhance their services and interact with customers in new ways. I also learned about how AI can be used to simplify everyday tasks and offer new opportunities for interactions, which was an exciting insight.

Here are some of the most important trends and insights from the presentations:


Social media as search engines – Social media platforms such as YouTube and TikTok are increasingly becoming search tools, meaning Google is losing ground. This presents new opportunities and challenges for both marketers and users.


AI's impact on digital interactions – AI continues to evolve and is influencing all areas of our digital lives, from automated services to interactive tools that can change the way we work and communicate.


The importance of video and personal communication – Panel discussions emphasized that while AI and automation will play a significant role in the future, the personal touch and video content will remain central to creating engagement and authenticity.


Web accessibility compliance – New legislation for web accessibility is on the horizon, meaning companies must ensure their digital platforms are accessible to all users, regardless of disability.
Communication across generations – Understanding and adapting communication based on the target audience's age and preferences is crucial for success in today’s digital landscape.

Being aware of these trends will give both businesses and individuals a competitive edge in shaping the future of digital communication.
