The past 10 weeks have been exciting and educational. My internship at TeQflo as a marketing intern has given me insights into marketing and communications at a new level. During this time, I had the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks and projects that provided invaluable experience and new knowledge.
Content:
Company and competitor analysis
One of the first tasks I was given was to conduct a detailed analysis of TeQflo and its competitors. This was a great exercise to understand the company's position in the market and how we can improve our visibility and competitive edge. By analyzing the competitors, I gained insights into what they are doing well and how TeQflo stands out.
Creating a content plan and content
I was also involved in creating a content plan for TeQflo. It was exciting to think strategically about how we can communicate with our target audience and what content would generate engagement. I also had the opportunity to create content, both written and visual. Filming and photographing for social media, writing blog posts, and working with content were a big part of my daily tasks.
TikTok and podcast
One of the most fun and creative parts of my internship was starting TeQflo’s TikTok account. I learned how to create engaging videos that capture the audience's attention. At the same time, I created podcast content for a few episodes- keep an eye out when the first episode is released.
Using HubSpot – from CRM to marketing
One of the most rewarding parts of my internship has definitely been working in HubSpot. I had the chance to use HubSpot as a powerful tool for marketing and CRM. I worked on creating a landing page, which gave me an insight into how to design and build pages that convert visitors into leads.
Additionally, I was involved in creating newsletters where we planned and wrote engaging content to keep both existing and potential customers informed. Through HubSpot, I learned how to manage email campaign automation, segment audiences, and analyze results to continuously improve content. I also created blog posts in HubSpot, both in Swedish and English.
I also took part in HubSpot’s training and completed exams through HubSpot Academy, which led to two certifications—one in social media and one in e-mail marketing.
Advertising – meta and linkedIn
During my internship, I also learned about advertising on both Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and LinkedIn. I gained insights into how advertising works on these platforms, from audience segmentation to budget management and optimization. I also created material for ads, which gave me a greater understanding of how visual and text-based content can be tailored to maximize results and engagement.
Event – videographer at "Internet in focus"
One of the highlights of my internship was being a videographer at the "Internet in Focus" trade show on behalf of TeQflo. I was responsible for filming and documenting the entire event, which gave me a unique opportunity to develop my video editing and photography skills in a professional environment. I also had the chance to interview many of the speakers and visitors at the event. It was inspiring to be part of TeQflo’s presence at the trade show and capture all the important moments that were later used for marketing and social media.
Purchasing and upgrading the office
During my internship, I was also involved in purchasing materials at IKEA to upgrade the office. It was a fun and creative experience where we took the opportunity to create content at the same time. We filmed and photographed the entire IKEA visit, as well as when we assembled the furniture and, of course, the final result. It gave me a chance to think about how to create visually appealing material for social media and other channels while making the office even more inspiring for the team.
Participation in meetings and trade show
Throughout my internship, I also participated in several meetings where I had the opportunity to contribute with ideas and thoughts. I also learned how TeQflo works with clients as well as internally.
In summary, my 10 weeks at TeQflo have been an enriching and educational experience. I’ve had the chance to work on many different aspects of marketing, from strategy and planning to execution and follow-up. I’ve developed both my technical and creative skills, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with such a wonderful team. TeQflo has truly given me an insight into how marketing works in the real world, and I now feel much more confident and prepared for future career opportunities.
Thank you to the entire team at TeQflo for this incredible opportunity!
