About OptiCept

OptiCept is an exciting publicly listed technology company from Lund that develops innovative sustainable solutions within the food and plant industry through its CEPT and OptiBoost technologies.

The Challenge

The company needed support with digital marketing to raise awareness about oliveCEPT. The product was ready for sale, but the target audience was geographically distant and only a few knew the product existed.

The Goals

The goals were to:

  • Create a marketing strategy for oliveCEPT
  • Raise awareness about oliveCEPT among the target audiences
  • Generate views on social media and the website
  • Convert views into leads
  • Create sales-qualified leads for the sales department
  • Create and market content

The Solution

Based on inbound marketing, with system support from HubSpot, we took on the task of marketing oliveCEPT in a modern way. We began by creating a marketing strategy that included:

  • Buyer personas
  • Content that would attract the target audience
  • Channels to reach the target audience
  • A plan for execution

With the help of inbound marketing methods, videos, targeted social media advertising and PR, we created immediate value. Product sheets were polished and placed on the website behind forms. Visitors were attracted through social media with content that helps them. From social media, visitors were converted to the website where they could read more. Visitors could also easily find the product sheets and contact OptiCept.

The HubSpot tool was implemented for digital marketing and CRM for handing over leads to the sales team.

The Result

Within 3 months, we had built up a flow of sales-qualified leads in the selected markets. Our accuracy has since increased, and every week, leads are generated, both for marketing and those qualified to buy.

When we started, no one outside of Lund knew that oliveCEPT existed. Today, oliveCEPT is in production lines at major olive oil producers worldwide, including countries like Spain, Italy and Greece, to name a few.

The next goal is to establish a new industry standard where we can produce more and better olive oil with oliveCEPT.
